GuardREC and Touch successfully complete legal merger to create a global leader in compliance and call recording services

Following the acquisition of GuardREC, a leading Norwegian provider of smart compliance solutions, by Touch, the Nordic-based European leader in call-recording-as-a-service, we are pleased to announce the successful merger of the two companies.GuardREC Compliance AS is pleased to announce the successful completion of the merger with Touch Call Recording, one of the leading call recording solution providers in the Nordics and Europe with an expanding global footprint. 

GuardREC Compliance has been providing recording and compliance solutions to Financial Services organisations for over 20 years. We are a leader in the development and delivery of security-critical solutions. Our recording solutions are designed to help organisations comply with increasingly stringent legal requirements and regulations.

GuardREC Compliance as a service platform will be developed in parallel with the Touch portfolio of call recording services. GuardREC Compliance is supported by Microsoft’s powerful trusted hosting platform, Azure, which offers more than 100 global compliance certifications – with over 50 that are specific to global regions and countries, including the European Union, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and US. Microsoft also engages globally with governments, regulators, standards bodies, and non-governmental organisations to ensure that our customers’ future compliance needs are met.

Multi-site redundancy

Azure also supports multi-site redundancy to ensure that services are always available, including data protection, backup and restore, data redundancy, failover, and high-availability applications, enabling GuardREC Compliance to provide different redundancy options and to ensure data security and recovery. 

Azure also offers extensive regional support, including data centres across Europe, the Asia Pacific region, the Americas, and MEA.

Elastic scalability

Importantly, Azure enables GuardREC Compliance to offer elastic scalability to our customers so that they always have access to the capacity they require, regardless of demand – expected or unexpected. 

This elastic scalability ensures that customers automatically have access to the required compute, memory, network, storage, and other resources needed to handle any increase (or decrease) in workload.
